6-FMA has been tagged with negative skepticism and debate on whether the compound has the same characteristics as 4-FMA had in vitro. The separated debate has been towards the physical withdrawal syndrome associated with the 4-FMA molecule and whether these traits were transferred over during the synthesis of 6-FMA.
